You know its not really surprising that someone hacked into Sarah Palin's personal emails. Apparently some group called "Anonymous" did just that. I don't know who or what "Anonymous" is. I do know that they like to stir up trouble on the internet. They previously caused a bunch of ruckus with the scientologists
So anyway they hacked into her email account, and posted screenshots, personal family photos, email exchanges, and contacts. Now remember this is her personal account. There was a few government email exchanges, but as far as I'm concerned I really don't care. It was a personal account. I couldn't care less about it. I don't really care who she emails on her own time. Why do people do this? Obviously because they like to cause problems. I personally think some people just cannot handle the thought of a woman being in the White House. As President or Vice President. I'm not saying this was their reason, just a thought. I do think the Palin family has been picked apart more than usual.
I hate the fact that everybody is still making a fuss over her daughter. It's her daughter people, not her. Get over it. Her daughters mistakes are not hers. Her personal family life should not be under this much scrutiny. I'm not saying I agree with her on everything or am going to vote for the McCain/Palin ticket. I am currently undecided.
I do know that I would like this campaign to get back to the issues. Because isn't that what is important?

"Anonymous" is just a group of hackers. Members are from all over the world. Basically a loose organization of people with a similar interest/goal.
I agree that her personal life is her personal life, but the big thing to take away from the email hack is that there are emails regarding government business. By law, email regarding government business is required to be sent over government servers so that there is a backup of everything. (Accountability. This is why the Bush administration is getting such flak for all those "missing" emails). If she was conducting government business on a personal email account, she is at the least breaking the law, and at worst, trying to hide something. I'm not saying all or most politicians don't do that, just that she got caught.
I agree that there should be more discussion on the issues, but one thing to remember is that a candidate's character is just as important. What they say on the issues doesn't matter if they don't have any intention of even trying to accomplish what they say, or worse, if they don't actually believe what they say.
I agree that she shouldn't of been doing govt. business from her personal account. I still believe though that this shouldn't be an issue because it was in her personal email account. It was an invasion of privacy. You don't see them hacking into Biden's account. Why? I still think she is being overly scrutinized.
You don't hear any of this crap about Biden!
