The New First Family

Well today was Inauguration Day, the day we get a new President. It was also an historic day, being that the 44th President of the United States is African American. How awesome is that?!?! It's a great day!! I'm so proud of our country!

There was festivities all day today. In fact President Obama and the First Lady are still going and probably won't be done until 2:30 in the morning. They had 10 Inaugural balls to go to tonight! I also heard that Sasha and Malia were going to have friends over for a scavenger hunt and a movie at their new digs tonight...ya know..the White House!

How cool would it be to grow up there? That would be awesome, I would think! Although I heard that Michelle has requested that the White House staff doesn't pick up after the girls...that they will still have to clean their rooms and make their beds...lol! Good for her! I think that is awesome!
